We are an elder abuse prevention and intervention program for older adults living in the community.
The Weinberg Center for Elder Abuse Prevention is the nation’s first elder abuse shelter serving eligible individuals 60 years and older. The Weinberg Center provides emergency short-term housing, health-care services, legal advocacy, and support services to victims of elder abuse.
We envision a world in which victims of elder abuse have prompt access to a coordinated community response that adequately addresses all of their needs and preserves their safety, dignity, and autonomy.

As the nation's first regional emergency shelter, we can provide the tools to replicate our shelter model and become a leader in your community.
We are dedicated to several projects and initiatives that serve the older adult community and advance public knowledge of elder abuse prevention.
If you believe you or a loved one is a victim of elder abuse and need immediate help, please call emergency at 911 or learn more about our legal and community resources.
